JUST ADDED- "Clown Doctor" will be entertaining children with magic tricks and other activities from noon to 2 pm for this year's RWJF Culture of Health Prize Celebration and Take a Loved One to the Doctor Event.
Both events will take place on Saturday, November 1 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm in the Human Services building.

In November, DDC will host a series of events to give information about type 2 diabetes to Durham County residents. Events will cover information such as strategies for diabetes management, healthy eating and physical activity, buying fruits and vegetables on a budget, reading food labels, navigating doctor’s appointments and medication management.

The Durham Diabetes Coalition has been working with the Durham Housing Authority and residents at McDougald Terrace to establish a Healthy Mile Trail in the neighborhood.
